Interim Measures for the Management of Overseas Study Fund for Outstanding Students of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology

Chapter 1 General Rules


Article 1 In order to further enhance the internationalization level of the school, to encourage outstanding students to participate in various study visit programs of high-level universities, scientific research institutions and international organizations abroad, and to cultivate high-level talents with international quality, we hereby establish the "Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology Outstanding Students' Overseas Study Visit Fund" (hereinafter referred to as "the Fund"). In order to manage the Fund properly, these measures are formulated.

Article 2 The total amount of the fund is determined by the specific amount of school allocation in the year. Social forces are encouraged to inject capital, and the fund may be given the right to be named, and specific measures will be formulated separately.

Article 3 The principle of "dispatching first, then funding" shall be adopted.

Article 4 The fund shall be granted to full-time undergraduate students.

Article 5 The fund shall be used to support the various overseas study and exchange programs issued by the university and the various college programs that have been examined and recorded by theInternational Exchange Department(Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affair) of the university; the following four types of programs shall not be funded for the time being.

(1) Sino-foreign cooperative study programs approved by the Ministry of Education

(2) Degree programmes abroad

(3) Projects that have not been examined and recorded by the institute

Chapter 2 Management Organization

Article 6 A fund management committee is established, consisting of the university leadership, the Office of Student Work, the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of Finance, International Exchange Departmentand other relevant departments, and relevant departments may be invited to participate according to actual needs. The main responsibilities are

(1) To formulate the management methods of the fund and to interpret them.

(2) To be responsible for the evaluation of the Fund

(3) To supervise the disbursement of funds.

Article 7 The day-to-day work of the Fund Management Committee shall be the responsibility of theInternational Exchange Department.The main duties are

(1) To be responsible for organizing the evaluation of the Fund. The evaluation meeting shall be held every year according to the needs, and the minutes of the meeting shall be archived afterwards.

(2) Organise the application process of the Fund. Receive applications from students and complete the preliminary examination.

(3) Assist the Fund Management Committee in the promotion, review and distribution of the Fund.

Chapter 3 Amount and Principles of Financial Assistance

Article 8 According to the relevant national regulations and the actual situation of the institute, the fund grants are divided into four categories, namely A, B, C and D. The specific amount of grants shall be subject to the project notification.

Article 9 The funding of the Fund follows the following principles.

(1) On the basis of the individual student's active application for relevant national and provincial funding, the school gives appropriate subsidies. Special support is given to particularly outstanding poor students.

(2) The fund focuses on funding A-class and B-class projects, as well as projects with high entry requirements and high requirements for students' performance points and foreign language scores.

(3) Under the same conditions, the fund will focus on supporting projects or academic activities that are highly representative and influential, such as high-level international competitions and activities that represent the university's participation in the construction of the "Belt and Road" strategy.

(4) All things being equal, the Fund will give priority to first-time applicants.

Chapter 4 Application and assessment methods

Article 10 Applicants must have the following conditions.

(1) Be a full-time undergraduate student officially admitted to the university at both the application stage and the visiting stage.

(2) Love the socialist motherland and support the leadership of the Communist Party of China; abide by the Constitution and laws and the rules and regulations of the university; be honest and trustworthy and of good moral character.

(3) Excellent academic performance, solid professional knowledge and high foreign language proficiency.

(4) Physically and mentally healthy, with the financial ability and adaptability to study and live abroad.

(5) Meet the specific application conditions stipulated by various projects or universities in foreign countries (overseas).

Article 11 Students who independently participate in overseas study visit projects without examination and record by theInternational Exchange Departmentshall be financed by the project implementation unit or students individually, and are not allowed to declare funds for the time being.

Article 12 Students shall voluntarily apply for the fund and submit the "Application Form for Overseas Study Visit Fund for Outstanding Students of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology " and other relevant documents to theInternational Exchange Departmentbefore they are sent out.

Article 13 The student's college shall examine in detail the student's overall quality, professional performance, development potential, expected goals and plans for study abroad, moral and physical and mental health, and sign the recommendation.

Article 14 TheInternational Exchange Departmentshall receive the applications, conduct preliminary examination of the applicants' qualifications and the participating projects, and submit them to the Fund Committee for evaluation. The list and amount of funding determined to be approved will be publicized.

Chapter 5 Disbursement of Funds

Article 15 When there is no objection after the public announcement period, the financial aid fund shall be transferred from the special account of the university fund to the students' personal bank card accounts by the Finance Office of the university in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of these Measures.

Article 16 After the student has completed the study visit project and submitted the study visit report, the financial office of the university shall disburse the funding amount in a lump sum.

Article 17 In principle, the financial assistance will not be granted if a student, during the period of the study visit project, has

(1) Failure to complete the study visit program.

(2) Unauthorized early dispatch, return to school, late return, transfer to other regions or countries.

(3) Violation of local or Chinese laws and regulations.

(4) Violation of the rules and regulations of the University and the visiting school.

Article 18 Upon completion of the study visit, the sponsored students shall actively cooperate in the lectures, activities and publicity organized by the university to introduce the study abroad, so as to encourage more students of the university to participate in the overseas study visit program.

Chapter 6 By-laws

Article 19 These Measures shall be implemented from the date of publication and shall be interpreted by theInternational Exchange Department.
