On the morning of September 20,2024,Consul General Suraya Ahmad Pauzi of the Malaysian Consulate General in Guangzhou and her delegation visited Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology.The university's President Xue Jibao and Kang Na,a member of the university's council and director of the council's office,met with the guests.
During the meeting,President Xue extended a warm welcome to Ms.Suraya and her delegation.He provided a detailed introduction to the development history and educational characteristics of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology,particularly highlighting the cooperation and exchange with Malaysian universities and the achievements made.President Xue emphasized the university's commitment to cultivating talents with an international perspective and enhancing their global competitiveness.He expressed his anticipation for deeper cultural and academic exchanges to further strengthen and develop cooperation with Malaysia.
Ms.Suraya thanked the university for the enthusiastic reception.She highly praised the various cooperation projects between Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology and Malaysian universities,and also mentioned the comprehensive support policies provided by the Malaysian government to encourage its students to study in China.Ms.Suraya stated that she would continue to actively promote mutual learning and exchange between the youth of both countries,encouraging more Malaysian students to choose Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology for in-depth study and cultural exchange activities,thereby promoting the common development of higher education in both countries.
During the talks,both sides agreed to work together to continuously deepen interactions and collaboration in the field of education,especially seeking new breakthroughs in higher education,scientific research innovation,and cultural exchanges.After the meeting,the delegation,led by a guide,visited the university's Chinese Costume Museum and gave it high praise.
