From 27th June to 3rd July, President Xue Jiabao led an academic exchange delegation to the UK and France. The delegation visited Coventry University (CU) and the International Institute of Tailoring Paris (AICP) in the UK, and carried out in-depth exchanges on the further strengthening of international co-operation, and achieved fruitful results of the visit. Yi Cheng, assistant to the president and dean of the School of Fashion and Media, Liu Youfa, director of International Exchange and Cooperation, Zhang Ning, dean of the School of Fashion Design, and Zhao Yonggang, vice dean of the School of Fashion Engineering, accompanied the delegation on the visit.

The delegation met with Amy Davies, Associate Dean of the School of Arts and Social Sciences of Coventry University (CU), and Ann Muirhead, Associate Professor of the School, Sharlene Puwar of the Academic Co-operation Office of CU, and other relevant senior managers participated in the exchange. Afterwards, accompanied by Associate Professor Phil Perry and Dianabasi Nkantah, the delegation visited the School of Arts and Social Sciences, the School of Engineering, the School of Environment and the School of Science of Coventry University (CU), and toured the teaching places and equipments, such as Clothing Patternmaking and Craft Studio, Digital Cutting Studio and Motion Capture Studio.
International Institute of Cutting Paris (AICP)
On 2 July, President Xue Jiabao led our academic exchange delegation to arrive at the International Institute of Tailoring Paris (AICP), where the President and Principal warmly received the members of our academic exchange delegation. Led by Principal Christine, the delegation visited the school's campus environment, teaching facilities and students' works.
During the meeting, the two sides had friendly exchanges and discussions on talent cultivation, co-operation in running schools, organising professional events, strengthening teachers' exchanges and mutual visits, etc., and agreed to implement the Sino-foreign co-operation projects and other co-operation matters as soon as possible.
Xue Jiabao, President of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Christine, President of International Institute of Cutting Paris (AICP). The next step, the two sides as soon as possible to promote the implementation of the agreement, and continue to cultivate and develop more and more excellent, with an international perspective and a high level of clothing technology-based talents.
