On 14th and 15th October 2024, a unique seminar was held in the lecture hall on the 6th floor of the Art Building. The core content of this seminar focused on the master's degree programme of the National Academy of Fine Arts in Frosino, Italy, aiming to provide detailed understanding and professional application guidance for art students of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology who have dreams of going to Italy for further study. Lecture by the Italian project office of the teacher Meng beyond the lecture, attracted many students with dreams of art to listen to.
At the beginning of the seminar, Mr Meng firstly made a brief introduction to the Florentine National Academy of Fine Arts. As the jewel of Italian art hall, the Florentine National Academy of Fine Arts has attracted art lovers from all over the world with its excellent teaching level and long history. Mr Meng elaborated on the academic advantages, curriculum and campus environment of the Academy, which enabled the students present to have a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of art education in Italy.
Ms. Meng then introduced in detail the contents of the master's degree programme. She started from the professional art curriculum, covered the rich practical opportunities, the scientific research strength of the tutors, and the career prospects of the students, and explained these aspects one by one. Ms Meng also emphasised that the National Academy of Fine Arts in Frosino, Italy, focuses on cultivating students' creativity and practical skills, and is committed to laying a solid foundation for students on their artistic path.
In the course of the presentation, Ms Meng also provided students with valuable application advice based on her many years of study abroad and teaching experience. She shared the various aspects of the application process that need attention, including the preparation of application materials, language test skills and interview strategies. At the same time, Ms Meng also encouraged the students to maintain their love and persistence for art and to pursue their dreams.
The success of this seminar not only provides valuable information and guidance for the art students of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology who are interested in studying in Italy, but also further promotes the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Italian art education. I believe that in the near future, there will be more Chinese students with artistic dreams, embark on the road to Italy to study, for the cultural exchanges between the two countries to add a new lustre.
