In the afternoon of November 5, Jiangxi Institute of Clothing Party Secretary, Supervisory Commissioner Lin Jingping went to the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation (College of International Education, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) to conduct research and guide the work. The research meeting was held in the office of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department in Runhuayuan, accompanied by Xu Daoqin, deputy director of the Party and Government Office. All members of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Liu Youfa, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, warmly welcomed the visit of Secretary Lin and his entourage and introduced the overall work of International Exchange and Cooperation Office in detail. He made a detailed report on the work of international students, recruitment and management of foreign teachers, Chinese-foreign cooperative projects, international exchange programmes, overseas exchanges of teachers and students, international image building, construction of rules and regulations, as well as the work of the department in the International Fashion and Art Festival which has just come to an end. Director Liu especially pointed out that the international exchange work has achieved certain results in recent years, but also faces the problems of insufficient internationalisation awareness of the university, colleges, teachers and students, and insufficient construction of the international exchange work team.

Secretary Lin Jingping made a concluding speech. She fully affirmed the achievements of the International Exchange and Co-operation Office and gave constructive comments and suggestions on some issues. Secretary Lin pointed out that as the window of the school's foreign exchange, we should continue to study in depth, comprehensively understand and implement Xi Jinping's thought on diplomacy, take it as a fundamental guideline to guide the work of diplomatic practice, and must firmly establish political awareness, sense of the overall situation, improve political standpoint, strictly abide by the discipline of foreign affairs, and cast a firm sense of the bottom line, so as to push the work of the school's international exchanges to a new level.

The research pointed out the direction for the next step of the work of the Office of International Exchange and Co-operation, and also put forward clear requirements for the school's international exchange work. All the staff of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office will not forget the original intention, move forward, in accordance with the requirements of "ahead of the curve, the courage to strive for the first, good as", to make greater contributions to the school's international exchange work.
