On 29th November, the 2024 Nanchang Foreign Experts Networking Activity hosted by Nanchang Bureau of Science and Technology was successfully held. This activity aims to enrich the cultural life of foreign experts and enhance their understanding of the history, culture and natural ecology of Nanchang.

Four foreign experts from the United States, South Africa and Malaysia were invited to participate in this activity. Together with other experts, they visited the balsam fir promenade of Wuxing Settlement, the embankment of Wuxing section of Hongqi Lianxu, and the former site of Peking University and Tsinghua University, and had a deep feeling of the rich ecological resources and humanistic heritage of Nanchang. Afterwards, the experts went to Baihe Town of Liyuzhou to enjoy the natural landscape and experience the fun of bird-watching, feel the quietness and flavour of the countryside, and pick oranges with their own hands, so as to enjoy the comfort and beauty of idyllic life.

During the dinner, foreign experts got together, shared food, exchanged cultures, added WeChat friends with each other, and talked about their work and life feelings. An expert from our university said that this activity not only let them know more about the natural and historical beauty of Nanchang, but also made many like-minded friends, which was warm and unforgettable.

The activity ended successfully in laughter. The foreign experts expressed that they would integrate into the life of Nanchang more actively in the future and contribute to the international development of Nanchang with their professional expertise.
