On the morning of April 15th, the cooperation meeting and MOU signing ceremony between our university and the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce, Italy were held in the lecture hall on the third floor of the administration building. Professor Cosimo Marullo, member of the Standing Committee of the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce, Italy, and Professor of Advertising Communication, Art and Design, and Margiotta Tiziano, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Professor of Advertising Communication and Art Design, visited the visit. Professor Xue Jiabao, President of our university, attended the meeting, and the deans of the School of Art and Design, the School of Fashion Media, and the School of Humanities (Vice) attended the meeting, which was presided over by Professor Liu Youfa, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology.

The ceremony was carried out in a friendly and warm atmosphere, and the two sides watched the promotional videos of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion and Lecce Academy of Fine Arts, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges on future cooperation.

The two parties signed an MOU. Under the MOU agreement, the two sides will further strengthen cooperation in teacher-student exchanges, academic conferences, winter camps, fashion shows, etc.

It is believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, the future cooperation will achieve more fruitful results and contribute more to the development of international art education.

In the afternoon of the same day, our school specially invited two professors from the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce, Italy to our school to give a lecture on the master's training program.

The lecture was held in the lecture hall on the third floor of the Sixian Building, and the scene was full. The keynote speakers were Professor Cosimo Marullo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce and Head of the Department of Oil Painting, and Margiotta Tiziano, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce and Professor of Advertising Communication and Art Design.

Two professors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce, Italy, used vivid language and rich examples to show the students the unique charm of Italian higher education and the characteristics of the Lecce Academy of Fine Arts. They introduced in detail the history of the college, its majors, teaching methods, and study abroad life, so that students could have a more intuitive understanding of the academic environment and cultural atmosphere in Italy.

After the meeting, the students had an in-depth exchange with the professors of the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce about their professional direction, and asked about the curriculum and research direction in the field of design. The professor patiently answered questions and shared the latest developments and trends in the Italian design industry.

The purpose of this seminar is to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Italian universities, provide students with a broader platform for further study abroad, and better help students plan for the future and realize their dreams. Some students said that through this exchange meeting, they have a deeper understanding of the study environment in Italy, and they have also strengthened their determination and confidence to study abroad.
