At the invitation of Kenjiro Nakamura, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sugino Fashion University in Japan, on March 28, Professor Xue Jiabao, President of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology, led an academic exchange delegation of our university to visit Sugino Fashion University in Japan.

At the headquarters of Sugino Fashion University, Kenjiro Nakamura, chairman of the board of directors of the university, and Kei Kato, president of the school, cordially met with the members of the academic exchange group of our university. At the welcome ceremony, the chairman of the board of directors introduced the development of the school, the founder Yoshiko Sugino, who went to the United States from 1913 to 1920 to study, studied fashion design and production technology in New York for 7 years, returned to China in 1920, and founded the "Noboree Beauty College" in Japan in 1926, which is now Sugino Fashion University.

Yoshiko Sugino is a pioneer in the modernization, Europeanization and Europeanization of Japanese women's clothing, and pioneered the "Dengli Beauty Costume Prototype Cutting Technology", and the prototype of Japanese Dengli Beauty Costume and Japanese cultural clothing have been recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Culture. They are the theoretical basis for the development of the Japanese clothing industry, and they are the two major structural systems that coexist in the teaching of Japanese clothing.

Fashion education in Japan began when the founder of the school, Ms. Yoshiko Sugino, opened the Women's Fashion Women's College in the early Showa period. Since its establishment, the school has been a leader in fashion education and the creation of new fashion in Japan. Sugino Fashion University has the Faculty of Fashion (Fashion Department), the Women's Fashion College of Sugino University (Fashion Modeling Department, Fashion Business Department, Fashion Design Department, Fashion Technology Department, Fashion Design Department, Design Art Department, and Advanced Fashion Specialty Department), and the Department of Communication Education. The school offers a wide range of courses from costume creation to apparel-related courses, and students can freely choose the course they wish to study after completing the basic course. The school provides an opportunity and environment for students to develop their creativity and individuality.

Kenjiro Nakamura, chairman of the board of directors, also briefed everyone on the cooperation and exchanges with other universities in China.

Professor Xue Jiabao, President of our university, then introduced the characteristics of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology and the progress and achievements made in international exchanges in recent years, and expressed his willingness to strengthen cooperation with Sugino Fashion University in the fields of academic exchanges, student research, fashion shows and cooperative education, and sincerely invited foreign presidents and presidents to visit our school and participate in our fashion and art week and other activities.

Finally, the president of the school led everyone to visit the laboratories and libraries of Sugino Fashion University. This academic exchange trip will help to enhance the reputation of our university in the field of international art, and also lay a solid foundation for broadening international exchange channels and further promoting the internationalization of Jiangfu education.
