President Xue Jiabao led the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation and the head of the School of Humanities to carry out a study visit to theUniversitiMalaysiaKelantanfrom July 1 to 3, and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
During his stay at theUniversitiMalaysia Kelanta,president Xue Jiabao met with theUniversitiMalaysia Kelantavicepresident PROFESSOR DATO 'DR.RAZLI BIN CHE RAZAK and listened tovicepresident NIK MAHERAN BINTI NIK MUHAMMAD on the cooperation between the two universities. The two universities also conducted in-depth exchanges and reached preliminary consensus on cooperation matters such as student exchange, joint training and cultural exchanges in the fields of humanities and clothing.PROF.DR.NIK MAHERAN BINTI NIK MUHAMMAD,deputydean of theUniversitiMalaysia Kelantan, attended the meeting.President Xue Jiabao and his delegation also visited the experimental training base, libraryandteaching building.
Principal XueJiabaodelivered a speech at the signing ceremony.He expressed his gratitude to theUniversitiMalaysia Kelantanfor its warm reception and introduced the development of the university and some ideas on internationalization of the university. He hoped to take this visit as an opportunity to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation between the two universities and continuously improve the level of internationalization of the two universities.
Afterwards,theywatched the promotion vedio together and further understood the basic situation and professional characteristics.At the professional docking meeting, the two sides respectively made an overall introduction to the scale of teachers and students, the establishment of departments, the academic system, majors, competition activities and other aspects of their respective schools.During the inspection activities, everyone reported their learning harvest and perceptionto President XueJiabao. The principal communicated with them kindly, asked about their overseas study and life and helped the teachers to develop research ideas in language learning.President XueJiabaoencouraged everyone to study diligently .
