In order to enrich the after-school life of Chinese and foreign students, enhance the communication ability of Chinese and foreign students, and create an international cultural atmosphere of understanding, tolerance, openness and upward mobility on campus, a cultural exchange activity for Chinese and foreign students was held at 6:00 p.m. on November 30 in the fifth seminar room on the third floor of the library of the university in the form of "Promoting Chinese and foreign exchanges and building bridges of friendship".
At the beginning of the event, Ms. Li Jinyan from the College of International Education gave a wonderful demonstration lesson of Chinese as a foreign language. Ms. Li Jinyan introduced the culture of Chinese characters and the necessity and importance of learning Chinese to the international students in simple and vivid language, and also discussed with the Chinese students how to better carry out the language mutual learning activities between Chinese and foreign students.
At the event, Queeny from Senegal and Cynthia from Rwanda introduced the scenic spots, traditional costumes, food habits and humanities and arts of their countries to the Chinese students. With their natural expressions and humorous language, they brightened up the students' eyes and won the applause of the audience. In the laughter, the students exchanged ideas with each other with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
During the sharing and interaction, everyone shared their experiences and thoughts, and the Chinese and foreign students learned about different regional cultures and made new friends. Cynthia and Queeny, two international students from the College of Business, have formed a language study group with Chinese students from the English Association of our university.
