On the afternoon of November 11th, JIFT andItaly NABANew Academy of Fine Arts held the intercollegiate cooperation fair online. Colomba Ledi, Dean of Fashion Department, Maria Jaber, head of International Department, Luca Poncellini, Dean of Design and Applied Arts Department, Wu Xiaodan, head of cooperation in China and other relevant leaders of Italian universities, Gan Yingjin, deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Committee of our University, Li Jinyan, Assistant Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Su Danting, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office, Chen Juanfen, Dean of College of Fashion Engineering, Liu Qiong, vice president of College of Fashion Design, Li Youwei, vice president of College of Fashion Communication, Ye Haibin, assistant dean of College of Fashion Engineering and other leaders attended the meeting. The online meeting was the first meeting between the two universities in communication and cooperation projects.

At the meeting, representatives of the two sides respectively made a comprehensive introduction to the basic profile, school-running situation, school-running philosophy, development direction and advantageous majors of their respective schools. Subsequently, the two sides had a preliminary discussion and exchange on the cooperative project mode, major setting, major docking, course convergence, language requirements, credit recognition, student admission requirements and graduation forms. After this meeting, the two sides initially reached the intention of cooperation, which laid the foundation for the subsequent concrete joint training of students. This conference also opened up a new channel of cooperation between our university and Italian universities, and built a new platform for teacher-student exchanges and scientific research cooperation.

Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano (NABA), founded in 1980, is an innovative art school and a vibrant art and cultural center. It is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education as a higher art school. It is also the only private college in Italy recognized by the Ministry of Education of China. The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the arts, as well as other special courses inVisualArts,Design,FashionDesign,InteriorDesign,StageDesign, etc. It is ranked among the top 100 best universities for art and design in the World by the 2021QS World University Rankings.

In order to enhance our international influence and promote the three-step development strategy of "strong connotation, higher level and first-class", JIFTactively carries out online communication with foreign colleges and universities. Up to now, our University has signed inter-university project cooperation agreements with many famous foreign universities, such as Oriental University of Thailand, Royal University of Ulon Thani of Thailand, National University of Engineering, Transportation and Architecture of Kyrgyzstan, University of Lancashire of Britain, Vitebsk National University of Technology of Belarus, Thunburi University of Thailand, etc., to carry out international exchanges and cooperation. The project involves academic exchange, academic resource sharing, joint academic conference, student and faculty exchange and so on. In the next step, while promoting the implementation of various cooperation projects, the university will actively build a platform, constantly expand new channels, and actively help teachers and students to study abroad and exchange.
