More than 150 students representatives from various colleges attended the lecture, which was presided over by Liu Youfa, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

Starting with the phenomena of globalization and deglobalization, Professor Liu Hongjing combined his own academic and management experience to conduct an in-depth analysis of the core competencies required for university students in workplace competition.Using vivid pictures and texts, he presented photos of world-renowned universities and enterprises, and elaborated on the qualities that modern international talents should possess: cross-cultural awareness, communication and coordination, problem-solving, independent learning, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes. He also emphasized that observation, sharp perception, and broad-mindedness are key qualities for talents in the new era. University students should improve themselves through the "Eight Lessons": learning, viewpoints, creativity, tolerance, kindness, change, cooperation, and leadership; and perfect their personality in the "Four Categories": inclusiveness, self-reflection, humility, and gratitude.
