In early 2023, our university officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with the Italian Academy of Fashion Communication, reaching an important consensus on jointly carrying out a Sino-foreign cooperative education program. Through close collaboration and active preparation between the two sides, a solid foundation for cooperation has now been laid. The launch of this cooperative education program marks a key step for the two universities in international strategic collaboration. Both sides attach great importance to this cooperation and are committed to providing students of our university with a higher level and more international fashion education, promoting the all-round improvement of talent training quality.
Sino-foreign cooperative education is an important way for China to promote the internationalization of higher education. In recent years, our university has actively responded to the calls of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education, closely combined with the actual situation of the university's development, and attached great importance to the demonstration, cultivation, application and management of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.
The successful approval of this Sino-foreign cooperative education program is an important step in the process of the university's internationalized school-running, marking a zero breakthrough in the university's international cooperative education and a crucial milestone. This program will effectively optimize the structure of our university's Sino-foreign cooperative education, upgrade the level of cooperation, increase the introduction of high-quality foreign educational resources, deepen international educational cooperation, promote the improvement of the internationalization level of talent training and the innovation of professional talent training models. It is another important achievement of our university in implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and promoting connotative development.
