On May 9, 2026, the Chinese Art Special Exhibition Week of the 61st International Art Exhibition-La Biennale di Venezia officially opened in Venice, Italy.
Professor Yu Biao of the School of Art and Design at JIFT was invited to participate in the exhibition. His oil painting Lingering Charm (Fengyun Youcun《风韵犹存》) was featured on this world-class art stage.
Rooted in the aesthetics of Huizhou-style culture and expressed through contemporary oil painting, the work tells an Eastern artistic story to the world, highlighting the distinctive charm of the integration between China’s regional cultural heritage and contemporary art.
