At 20:30 on May 20, 2026, the award ceremony of the 31st Fashion Young Talent Award & 2026 China Graduate Fashion Week was held in Beijing. The event was jointly hosted by China Fashion Association, China National Garment Association and China Textile & Apparel Education Society. JIFT took home six awards in total.
This marks the 12th consecutive year that JIFT has claimed top honors at the Fashion Young Talent Award, further demonstrating its leading strength in cultivating fashion design talents.

During the fashion week, themed activities were launched to celebrate JIFT’s 35th anniversary and the 30th Runhua Award Art Festival:
JIFT Graduation Collection Fashion Show: Displayed original designs by graduates, blending natural aesthetics, cultural heritage and fashion innovation.
Anniversary Exhibition: Presented JIFT educational achievements accumulated over 35 years and fruitful outcomes of the art festival since 1996.
Themed Salon: Gathered industrial experts, enterprise representatives, distinguished alumni and faculty members to discuss talent cultivation, intangible cultural heritage innovation and industrial development.
In addition, JIFT actively participated in the Conference on Integration of Industry and Education& Innovative Practice in Higher Education Teaching Practice and exchanged views on practical teaching and cultivation of application-oriented fashion talents.
