On the afternoon of October 23, 2025, the delegation from Bangkok Thonburi University of Thailand visited JIFT for friendly exchange.The delegation consisted of Professor LAEDPRIWAN/SINEENART, Dean MATHASIT ADDOK of the School of Design, Associate Dean PORNWIPA SURIYAKARN of the School of Design, and interpreter Chen Xiulian. Vice President Jia Lixia of JIFT warmly welcomed the guests in the conference room on the third floor of the Administrative Building. Also Zeng Jianping, Director of the Science and Technology Industry Department, Zhang Ning, Dean of the School of Fashion Design, and He Xiaoya, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office were presented. The meeting was presided over by Liu Youfa, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.
At the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics including cooperation mechanisms, governance structure, team building, resource investment, talent cultivation modes, transformation of scientific research achievements, and external resource support etc.
After the meeting, the delegation from Bangkok Thonburi University presented souvenirs featuring Thai cultural characteristics, symbolizing the long-standing friendship between the two institutions. JIFT also presented representative cultural and creative products in return, conveying the unique charm of Chinese costume culture.
This visit has not only built a bridge of communication between JIFT and Bangkok Thonburi University, but also contributed to our cooperation with universities in the fashion and apparel field of countries and regions along the Belt and Road.We look forward to further exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the future to jointly promote higher education and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
