On the afternoon of September 22, 2025, a delegation from Coventry University, the United Kingdom visited JIFT. The delegation was led by Professor Craig Blyth, Associate Vice-President of Coventry University, Guy Dru Drury, Managing Director of China Region at Coventry University, and Professor Zeng Xianfei, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Coventry University. Li Baojun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of JIFT, Vice-President, Professor Chen Yan from the School of Humanities met with the guests.
During the meeting, the two sides respectively introduced the development history, educational characteristics, achievements and outcomes in international cooperation and expressed hopes to further deepen mutual understanding, enhance friendship, integrate resources, and jointly promote high-quality development in educational cooperation, artistic exchanges and other areas.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the Chinese Costume Museum of JIFT and appreciated the oriental aesthetics embodied in Chinese traditional costumes. They were deeply impressed by the museum’s collection of more than 10,000 items, including garments, accessories, textiles and embroideries from different dynasties in China.
