On September 26, 2025, the School of Fashion Design, Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology welcomed student Moiz from Pakistan.He is the second batch of international students at JIFT and also the first international student admitted to the School of Fashion Design.
This achievement not only reflects the continuous progress of JIFT’s international student education but also enriches the campus with a new atmosphere of multicultural exchange.
Moiz expressed his strong anticipation for studying fashion design in China.He said that he has always had a deep interest in China’s rich traditional culture.He chose Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology precisely for its outstanding reputation and strong faculty in integrating traditional and modern design.“I hope I can study Chinese hard here, experience Chinese culture, make more Chinese friends, and serve as a bridge for the development and communication between China and Pakistan,” Moiz said excitedly.
It is expected that Moiz will pursue a four-year undergraduate program in Fashion and Apparel Design.To ensure that the first international student can smoothly integrate into campus life, JIFT has launched a "one-on-one" academic tutor program and a cross-cultural partner scheme to help him adapt to the new study and living environment as soon as possible.
In the future, JIFT will continue to uphold the philosophy of open education, constantly improve its international education system, and actively attract more outstanding young students from all over the world to study here.We will further enhance the openness of our education and contribute to the international development of education in Jiangxi Province.
