From November 17 to 18, 2025, the 2025 International Conference on Industry-University-Research-Application Cooperation (Jiangxi) and the International Education Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held in Nanchang. Under the theme "Opening Up to the World, Creating New Brilliance in Jiangxi", the conference attracted nearly 400 delegates from 60 universities in 17 countries and 113 domestic universities. JIFT was invited to attend, with a delegation led by Liu Youfa, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

Co-hosted by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province, and organized by the Jiangxi International Education Cooperation and Teacher Development Center, the conference focused on high-quality opening-up of education and collaborative innovation in international industry-university-research-application integration. During the opening ceremony, officials from the Ministry of Education, provincial authorities, and representatives of educational institutions from various countries delivered speeches. A series of signing ceremonies were held on cooperative education and "Enterprises Going Global". Our university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eastern University of Management and Technology (Thailand), further expanding its international cooperation network in Southeast Asia.

During the conference, our delegates participated in the Hungary Higher Education Session and the Seminar on High-Quality Development of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education, engaging in in-depth exchanges with Chinese and foreign universities to explore practical experience and potential cooperation.

In the Hungary session, Director Liu Youfa briefly introduced our JIFT’s achievements in international cooperation, faculty and student exchanges, and international competition branding. He highlighted that a Hungarian contestant won the "International Design Star Award" at this year’s "Runhua Award" Belt and Road University Students’ Fashion Design and Skills Competition, demonstrating our effectiveness in building international competition platforms and promoting student exchanges. Director Liu stated that our university highly values practical cooperation with Hungarian universities and is ready to further deepen collaboration in student exchanges, talent development, and joint international programs. Ms. Gal Eva, Head of International Affairs at Budapest Metropolitan University, recognized our university’s strengths and open attitude, and expressed willingness to continue participating in the "Runhua Award" and advance bilateral cooperation.

This participation has achieved practical progress for our university in building its international cooperation network and expanding cooperation channels. Going forward, our university will focus on following up the cooperation intentions reached during the conference, promoting the implementation of projects, and steadily advancing high-quality international education. We will provide a broader platform for cultivating globally competitive talents for the fashion industry.
