On the morning of November 11, 2025, at 11:00, Mr. Jon Barrett (Chinese name: Wu Juncai), Deputy Consul of the Consulate General of Canada in Guangzhou, and his delegation visited JIFT for exchanges. The visit aimed to deepen educational cooperation between China and Canada and explore new approaches to talent cultivation in the fashion industry.
The exchange forum was held in the Reception Room on the second floor of the Administrative Building. Mr. Liu Youfa, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, warmly received the guests and presided over the forum.
This visit and exchange has built a direct and efficient communication bridge between Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology and high-quality Canadian universities and colleges. It has not only enabled both sides to fully understand each other’s educational characteristics and cooperation needs, but also clarified the direction for future collaboration.
