As the new semester begins in 2024, our university welcomes a new foreign teacher.She not only has rich teaching experience, but also brings us a diverse language environment and injects new vitality into our education.
Zandalee Govender, born in the 1990s, is from South Africa and currently works as a full-time teacher of oral English at the School of Humanities.
Teacher Zandalee’s lively and vivid teaching style has attracted many students to her class. She focuses on interaction with students, provides more language input and practice opportunities, stimulates students’ interest in learning, helps them improve the accuracy and fluency of their oral English, and enhances their English comprehension and application abilities.In her spare time, she shares the culture, customs and festivals of her home country, helping students better understand the international community and cultural backgrounds. She is also eager to communicate with students on various topics and learn more about traditional Chinese culture.
It is believed that Teacher Zandalee’s arrival will enhance students’ understanding and respect for world cultures, and cultivate cross-cultural understanding and inclusive thinking.
