At the main campus of Sugino Fashion College, President Nakamura Kenjiro and Principal Kato Takashi warmly received the members of our university’s academic delegation.At the welcome ceremony, the Chairperson introduced the history of the college. Its founder, Sugino Yoshiko, studied in the United States from 1913 to 1920, where she spent seven years learning fashion design and production techniques in New York.She returned to Japan in 1920 and founded "Tori Beauty School" in 1926, which is now Sugino Fashion College.
Professor Xue Jiabao, President of our university, then introduced the educational characteristics of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology as well as the progress and achievements in international exchanges in recent years.He expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation with Sugino Fashion College in academic exchanges, student study tours, fashion shows and joint education programs.He also sincerely invited the chairperson and president of the Japanese university to visit our campus and participate in events such as our Fashion Art Week.
