On the day of the event, three foreign teachers, Mathew, Zandalee and Jeremy, gave vivid presentations from their unique cultural perspectives, introducing the origin, traditional customs and modern significance of Thanksgiving.Meanwhile, Ms. Gao Hui, instructor of the English Association, together with Ms. Li Junlan, Ms. Wang Kang and Ms. Zhou Hui, also took an active part in the activity, adding more academic depth and professionalism.Under their guidance, all members of the English Association not only deepened their understanding of Thanksgiving culture, but also fully practiced their oral English through interactive activities such as role-play and situational dialogues.
The English Association held this event not only to provide students with a platform to express themselves and improve their English proficiency, but also to enhance students’ international vision and cross-cultural communication skills through cultural exchange.The association hopes that through such activities, students’ interest in learning English will be stimulated, and their understanding and respect for the world’s diverse cultures will be deepened.
