At the symposium, Liu Youfa extended a warm welcome to Vice President Wei Sanji and his delegation, and briefly introduced the university’s school-running situation, development history, achievements, and major progress in international exchanges.He stated that he believes the cooperation with Shinawatra University will bring broader development space and abundant educational resources for both sides.
Wei Sanji expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception. He noted that Shinawatra University is a prestigious institution approved by the Ministry of Education of Thailand and founded in 1999 by Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister of Thailand.The university has two campuses, both located in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.The Master’s and Doctoral Campus is situated in OAI Tower, a busy commercial area in downtown Bangkok, surrounded by shopping malls and with convenient transportation, offering full access to urban facilities.The Undergraduate Campus is the main campus located in Pathum Thani, a suburb of Bangkok, covering more than 750 mu (about 500,000 square meters). It features modern teaching facilities and a beautiful campus environment, and is known as one of the most beautiful universities in Thailand.The university offers more than 30 majors, including management, fine arts, design, and others. Its teaching staff mainly consists of industry elites and academic leaders, providing students with rich academic content and practical opportunities. Through close cooperation with more than 150 renowned universities worldwide, the university offers students abundant chances for practical exchanges and study.
During the exchange, Director Liu Youfa and Vice President Wei Sanji expressed their hope that the two universities will jointly explore innovative cooperation models and carry out effective cooperation in student exchanges, academic degree advancement, Luban Workshop, summer camps, and joint education programs.
The two sides signed a framework cooperation agreement, marking that the cooperation between the two universities has officially reached a new level.Promoting in-depth cooperation between our university and Shinawatra University of Thailand is of great significance to the international development of our university.
