

Recently, the 9th Milan Design Week · Excellent Works Exhibition of Teachers and Students in Design Disciplinesof Chinese Universities, co-sponsored by the China Education Association for International Exchange and the Chinese Society of Higher Education, came to a successful conclusion.Works by teachers and students of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology stood out in the competition,among more than 100 entries in total.
In the student group:
Works Color Charm of Nature by Yu Yingying,Jia Xingyu and Xu Yuan, instructed byteacher Yang Yijie from the Animation Teaching and Research Section, won the Second Prizein this national competition.
Works Colorful Panjin · Seal Bond by Wu Xutao and Wu Lingmeng, instructed byteacher Dong Shiyue from the Animation Teaching and Research Section, won the National Third Prize.In addition, another 6 worksof our students got awarded in Jiangxi competition division:2 works won the First Prize and the Second Prize respectively,and 4 works won the Third Prize.

In the Milan Design Week related competitions, the participating team of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology, with the support and guidance of university and school leaders, polished their entries repeatedly through numerous discussions and communications between instructors and students—from overall design conception to every detail of the works. After arduous efforts, they finally achieved fruitful results.
The award-winning teachers and students of JIFT have fully played an exemplary and leading role, fostering a strong atmosphere of striving for excellence in the institute.
The outstanding achievements of our teachers and students in this competition are not only a vivid reflection of the university’s dedicated development in design education, but a demonstration of its encouraging teaching effectiveness in cultivating design talents with both creativity and practical ability.It has also injected new impetus into the sustainable development of design disciplines at the university.
